Although less common, it can also occur in animals that have already been spayed if a small remnant of the uterus remains.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can cats get pyometra?<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yes. Although it is more commonly known in dogs, unspayed cats can also suffer from pyometra.
